ABBE PIERRE FOUNDATION CAMPAIGN - 2020
In a context where COVID-19 dominated the news and curfews were increasingly early, this poster aimed to remind us of those who were still outside, even after 6 PM.
The slogan, can be traduce as "At 6 PM, some are still bearing toasting » plays subtly with words. In French, "trinquer" (toasting) means both to toast and to suffer consequences.
The slogan firstly alludes to the curfew time, initially advanced to limit social gatherings like aperitifs. But it also refers, more deeply, to the situation of the homeless who, unlike others, bear the brunt in a figurative sense amidst general indifference.
This poster aims to soberly present a reality often overlooked. hoping to raise awareness and encourage collective consciousness.
